BPDA Immigration Q&A with Casseus Law - July 27, 2023 12PM EDT

About the speaker:
Rachel Casseus, Esq. runs her own boutique business immigration practice specializing in obtaining permanent resident green cards, and visas for foreign national researchers and entrepreneurs. Attorney Casseus is dedicated to providing her clients with results. To date, she has maintained 100% approval on all of her filed green cards including her National Interest Waiver (NIW) green cards. The majority of her clients are postdoctoral researchers from local research institutions and universities. Rachel has advised and worked with hundreds of foreign national researchers, entrepreneurs and business people. Every month, Attorney Casseus hosts Question and Answer sessions for foreign nationals who are interested in self-sponsoring themselves for a green card.

The next talk in BPDA’s “Life as a Postdoc” Seminar Series will be held on zoom. This series involves a series of data-driven talks that assess the challenges faced by postdocs in the Boston area. Talks are generally 15-25 minutes, followed by time for questions and discussion with the speaker.We are pleased to announce that the fourth talk in this series will be given by Dr. Mayank Chugh. BPDA Immigration Webinar with Dunn Law Firm

The next Immigration Webinar hosted by BPDA in partnership with Dunn Law Firm will be held on Thursday, February 9th, 2023 at 12 PM on Zoom.

The format of this event will be a presentation, followed by time for Q&A with the lawyers. If you would like to share your questions ahead of time, you can send them to the advocacy committee gmail account and they will be passed along  (BPDAadvocacy@gmail.com).

The presentation portion of the event will be recorded and made available to postdocs for later viewing.

The next of BPDA’s “Life as a Postdoc” Seminar Series will be held on January 25th at 4:30 PM on Zoom.

This series involves a series of data-driven talks that assess the challenges faced by postdocs in the Boston area. Talks are generally 15-25 minutes, followed by time for questions and discussion with the speaker.

We are pleased to announce that the third talk in this series will be given by former BPDA President, Dr. Ian Mahar, titled Insights from the Boston Postdoctoral Association’s survey on Boston postdoctoral issues and advocacy.”
