Senior Research Associate Planet Pharma
Responsibilities:
- Design, generate and test CRISPR constructs via transient transfection and lentiviral transduction 
- Design and implement high throughput CRISPR screens and follow-up studies 
- Apply deep sequencing and single cell genomics to analyze cellular response to AAV transduction 
- Generate stable cell lines 
- Develop novel technologies to modulate viral replication 
- Design, execute, and analyze cell-based, biochemical and molecular assays 
- Communicate results and research progress during team and departmental meetings 
- Prepare, write, analyze, and present technical data and reports 
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to drive innovation 
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, or related field with 2-4 years of industry experience 
- Mammalian cell culture experience is required 
- Experience in stable cell line generation, transient transfection, lentiviral transduction and generation is preferred 
- Hands on CRISPR experience required 
- Experience with molecular and biochemical methods, such as RT-qPCR, western blotting, and cloning is required 
- Experience with high throughput screening is a plus 
- Experience running NGS platforms and analyzing sequencing data is a plus 
- Experience with design, documentation and execution of experiments 
- Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment Strong collaboration, team-working skills and communication skills 
- Independently motivated and detail-oriented with good problem-solving ability
