Adjunct Faculty Positions in Biology, Chemistry, Physics – MCPHS University

MCPHS University, located on Longwood Ave in Boston, seeks members of the research and clinical community who are interested in gaining undergraduate teaching experience in the areas of biology, chemistry, and physics. MCPHS University (also known as the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences) is a healthcare-focused university with a wide spectrum of healthcare programs, including professional clinical programs (pharmacy, nursing, physician assistant studies, dental hygiene, and optometry) as well as traditional undergraduate programs (biology, chemistry, health psychology, public heath, and medical humanities). Primarily a teaching institution, we are passionate about preparing our students to become well-rounded scientists and healthcare providers.

We are looking to hire adjunct faculty to teach in our undergraduate laboratory courses (biology, microbiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics) as well as recitation sections associated with undergraduate lecture courses (biology, chemistry), starting the in fall semester, and possibility continuing into the spring semester. Qualified candidates will have a genuine interest in undergraduate education, helping students in their learning. Lab courses are generally 3 hours, recitation sections are 75 minutes, with both running throughout the day and week.
