Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Laboratory for Biomaterials and Drug Delivery (LBDD) at BCH/Harvard Institute of Medicine with Dr. Weldon and Dr. Kohane

The LBDD at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Institute of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow that is interested in aptamer identification, modification, manufacturing, and application in in vitro and in vivo models focusing on drug design and delivery. Our lab’s overall goal is to understand and to develop customizable drug delivery systems.

Preferred qualifications include:

1) Aptamer chemistry, including synthesis

2) Molecular techniques for analysis and application of aptamer qualities

3) Animal handling, breeding, & surgical skills for experiments

4) Cell culture and associated techniques

5) Ability to work independently and as part of a team

6) Basic statistical methods

7) 0-3 years of post-doctoral expertise

8) MD and/or PhD

Salary is competitive and commensurate with years of post-doctoral experience/qualifications
